Jessica Pederson

Born and raised in Northwest Indiana, I studied Informational Systems Management and Philosophy at Loyola University of Chicago. I moved to Portland in 1996 after falling in love with Oregon on visits to relatives. After meeting and marrying my husband, we moved to the Hazelwood neighborhood in 2006 because of its big yards and diverse community. We are happy to have filled our yard with a big garden and two active young children. I work in software program management for a team at Microsoft. I see my work on the board as a way to strengthen community bonds and promote a sense of identity within our neighborhood.
