Dear Community Partner,
ROSE Community Development is excited to announce a series of three evening homeownership forums. The first forum was in October 2011 in the Lents neighborhood, which yielded three finalists for the downpayment assistance grant drawing. February’s forum, the second out of the series of three, will be held on Wednesday, February 15th from 6 – 8:30pm at David Douglas High School. The purposes of the East Portland Homeownership Forums are to present participants with accurate and relevant information in regards to homeownership opportunities in the Portland Metro area and East Portland in particular.
The forums will be FREE, open to the public, and an equal housing opportunity. We have heard positive feedback from our community of potential homebuyers, realtors, and lenders alike for these events and are prepared to bring another round of education and resources to our second installment of the forums.
We are also seeking exhibitors to come table. Exhibitor fees for the February and April forums are as follows:
– $200.00 For-Profit or Government Organizations
– $100.00 Non-Profit Homeownership Development Organizations
– $0.00 Non-profits in Community Resources (ex: cultural programs, neighborhood assoc.)
If you have already paid for all three forums and participated in the October forum, we will assume you are coming to table at the February and April forum unless you tell us otherwise. Please consider sponsoring and participating in February and April. Pending the location of each forum, space will be limited, so tables are reserved on a first-come, first-serve basis.
