Gateway Regional Center

Gateway is the commercial area centered along 102nd Avenue, from NE Halsey Street south to SE Market Street, and generally includes Mall 205, the Gateway shopping district, and some commercial areas along the NE Halsey/Weidler couplet and the SE Stark/Washington couplet.

In the 2040 Growth Concept, adopted in 1995, METRO designated Gateway as one of severn Regional Centers, and the only one within Portland. 

In January 2009, Metro published a State of the Centers Report, which provides comparative information about each of the seven Regional Centers, using 2007 data. You'll find the Gateway Regional Center on pages 8-10 of the link above.
